The Library thing is cool, just your own little online collection and one is able to look at what others are reviewing all in one spot. Exciting and no boredom sets in!!! One can keep up with what others are reading, other interests.

Things #20 , #21 and #22 Podcasts, Video and Downloadable audio

I had experience all of the things listed above and find that these concepts will always be a part of my online usage. The podcasts or feeds was very helpful in keeping track of various websites and or personal blogger feeds from friends or organizations. And makes usage of these new fad social online products like Facebook or Twitter.



The audiobooks is a hit, because it allows for ipod or mp3 players to download the entire books and makes for transporting in the car or walking while listening. One does not have to be stationary and the very portalblility is just a plus! Since most of players have the option of videos downloads. Just awesome..

Things# 18 Online applications and Tools

The online application such as Zoho writer have a lot of features in processing your documents with authorizations of signatures to the very sharing of documents with others. You may chat or discuss your presentations. One may implore some of the features offline, such as template usage and the site is always open to suggestions.

For example, the sharepoint with Microsoft ( a newly added feature) is very interesting since this (Microsoft) has been a viable and longtime wordprocessing tool used offline.

Most of the emails websites have simular features so that your online wordprocessing needs can be down all in one setting such as Google.

Not sure that I will partipate with any of these online documents because it is online. Just recently, I've gotten a usb that has the same concept of various document readers and or processors and various software in the handling of your documents. And because most of the programs are not free there seems to a tendacy of failure or product loss. Just my experience...

Get a grip! Library 2.0 The internet is here and the users are adjusting. The concept is still changing and this is the basis with any technological change. The customer will always be the focus in the long term. Change has come and it is user friendly. I just think the way the libraries are performing; one will have to make the adjustment for most of the users. But, ideas will be the same in scope just on a grander scale and at a much faster rate. Which might cost us.

The Library thing is cool. You can have all your books (cataloged) that you are reading or have read complete with book reviews and discussions galore(clubs). It is not boring. It is definitely a library thing. Any happening events in the local area. And, one does not have to chit chat. I thoroughly enjoy this one and has suggested this thing to other coworkers.

Enjoyed the library thing, next best thing since the starting of the world wide web.
